We're back.

Traveling Carnies are pleased to announce the release of our first new episode in a very long time. We might want to scratch that "we be fast" part, but a lot of love and care went into this episode. An episode so ambitious, so grand, that it's being referred to as our Epicsode.

Yes it's here, Epicsode 1: Just Another Ugly Mouth On the Welfare. We have the epicsode in it's entirety in the video section, and the sketches featured in the epicsode are also available for instant viewing.

Also, we have another installment of Bugzonic completed. It will be premiering next week. Check back soon, the Carnies deliver in 2008!

F R E E DVD Screening on 4/20!!!

Are you jonesin' for some Carnies? Need your fix of irreverent comedy?
Well we got you covered. We're having a free screening of our season 2
DVD at UCF's student union room 221ab. It's on April 20th at 10pm.
Hans will be cooking up free pancakes, and we'll be serving the funny with the Carnies feature presentation of season 2 that hasn't been shown since the New York Fest. Come on out!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Unfortunately, the Knightcast studio as well as most other places on campus are shut down for the day, so that means no Carnie Radio Show tonight. BUT - that doesn't mean we can't put some easter eggs in plain view for you over on the multimedia page! Tonight, we have some 'best of' clips from the Valentine's Day show aired 02/13/2005. They're all in mp3 format and are about 300k each. Should download in a second or two for those on high speed connections, and a few more seconds for those still double-clickin' on the 56k. Either way, enjoy these clips, and we will be posting all the best of stories within the coming weeks!

To all UCF FUTURE readers, thanks for reading about us and coming to the site! We hope you'll like what you find on here. Today we fixed a ton of broken links, had a team work on converting and uploading new video clips, and spruced up some new pages. Click the media link for a handful of the new videos! hey everybody! we've been getting a TON of new traffic thanks to an article about us in the central florida/ucf future on monday. we were approached about a month ago by a magazine writer in gainesville (thanks ashley!). ashley wanted to send a different version of her article to some orlando publications, so special thanks to the future for picking it up.

keep checking back for new videos. i have some good quality videos to upload, but right now we're working on getting a new host that will give us more web space.we're revamping the entire site, too! it currently looks like an amateur porn site. if only it had the media content to match, maybe we'd be doing this for a living.see ya in a few days. as always, you can email me with any kind of press or business inquiries! anthony@travelingcarnies.com

Hey here's some Carnie New Year's resolutions: Party like it's still 2004. Return to our weekly pool parties when the weather allows it. Convince Hans to die his hair black. Free Chris Olson from the prison of Halo (we miss you, stop killing aliens and come back) Kick our coke habit. Get a dog. Oh and produce the funniest sketches for you and your friends. I'm sure we'll accomplish some of those, who has 8 ball killa's number?

Finally home from the New York Film Fest!

The Carnies took Manhattan for the New York International Independent Film Festival. Our DVD was an official selection for comedy. Hah! Many highlights to report, but I'll save my breath and instead put together a short video doc of our trip that we will post soon. Looking back it was a very fresh and thrilling experience; the 4 a.m. last calls, Chris constantly getting lost, the after parties, the UCB theatre, Super Mario World, and Murph driving like he's playing GTA New York City! "Murph, I have no seat belt. Don't get into an accident." "Joe. Joe, my truck has a steel frame, the other car is the accident."

Advance Tickets For Sale NOW!

We have under a week until the festival starts, and soon after we have our screening! The date for the screening of our DVD is Sunday, November 14th at 8:10 PM at the Village East Cinema at 181 2nd Avenue at 12th Street. It is strongly advised to buy advance tickets as the event is expected to sell out! Select the option for tickets to be held at the box office. Here are the links!

The Opening Night Gala party will be held at Club Spirit from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM on Thursday, November 11th at 530 W 27th St. This even is FREE, but we have a limited number of tickets to give out. It's an all day/night party where trailers for films will be projected on a large screen constantly. Club Spirit is the biggest club in NYC and Hans will probably get so drunk he may chip a tooth! Freakin' New Trailer

It's the early hours of the morning and after Joe's hard work on the new trailer, we finally have a small version enhanced for the web to the right. Took a while to figure out some small details in editing, but we finally got it. The file is 3.76mb, and should play fine on any broadband connection. If you have dial-up, sorry, but it'll take you approximately 45 minutes to watch our two minute trailer. This is what will be shown at the opening gala for the film fest, and will hopefully draw attention to our promo booth. The film fest is in exactly one week! We are all excited and just realized preparations need to start rolling. Press photo shoot Sunday, expect pictures soon after.

NY Film & Video Fest Schedule In

We are happy to report that the Traveling Carnies DVD will be shown while we are still in New York City on Sunday, November 14th 2004! This is a huge relief considering we are leaving halfway through the festival. Everyone has to come home and resume classes, work, the real life. Our stay will be from November 10th-16th, and be sure to check out the pictures page for probably quite a bit of visual documentation of the trip.

Brand New Website

We came up with a new design for the website. Cleaner, faster loading, more informative. Less errors. Hope you like it! Also, the screening date for the film fest in November will be posted very soon. Order a DVD at the merch page through PayPal. You don't even need a PayPal account to order one, just a credit card! We plan to have regular updates of new pictures of funny things, audio clips of Hans inebriated, and maybe even some web-exclusive sketches. 'Web-exclusive' means not funny, at all.

NY Film & Video Fest!

Season two has been accepted into the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival! The fest takes place sometime in November, we will have more details on that as they come in. Also, writing has begun for season three, and we are really looking forward to finishing some great material and shooting again!

Season 2 DVD Out Now

Traveling Carnies season 2 DVD is out now. In the next few weeks, we'll be putting the DVD in local outlets around Florida. Right now the DVD is available for purchase through this website from the merchandise page.
